Exhibition News – The first national festival of “Culture and Industry Film and Photography” began its activitieson Saturday, June 10, 2021 , with the official publication of its call. This cultural-artistic event is held with the aim of strengthening the connection between the fields of culture, art , and industry.
Holding and sections:
This festival is organized by the National Industry and Mining Day Commemoration Committee and is held in two main categories :
Industrial photo
Industrial film
Participants can compete at both professional and amateur levels .
Awards and recognitions:
The winners of each section will be awarded cash prizes in addition to the festival statuette and a plaque of appreciation . Notably, the special award of Culture and Industry will be presented to two top government or private production and commercial organizations that have performed exceptionally well in the field of cultural and artistic activities related to the festival’s themes.
Audience and how to participate:
The Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade has invited all photographers and filmmakers in the country, especially those active in the following fields:
Making an industrial documentary film
Advertising teaser
Music video
Announcement
Industrial photos (news, advertising, etc.)
Applicants must upload their works produced since 1400 by the first of August 1404 by completing the form on the festival’s dedicated website at https://industrialculture.ir or send it to the festival secretariat .
The main goals of the festival:
According to the organizers, the main goals of this event are:
Strengthening communication and interaction between culture and art enthusiasts (especially filmmakers and photographers) with managers and activists from various sectors of industry, mining, and trade .
Promoting documentary and visual documentation of production and industrial activities.
Using the capacities of photography, filmmaking, and cinema to better introduce the country’s industrial, mining, and commercial capabilities and achievements .
Promoting industrial culture at the national level.
