Exhibition News – The 32nd International Iran Agrofood Exhibition (Agricultural Industries, Food, Machinery and Related Industries) concluded its work in 2025 with a remarkable reception from domestic and international activists. This event, which is known as one of the most important specialized circles in the field of agriculture and food in the region, this time established its position on par with global exhibitions by emphasizing innovation, quality standards and international interactions. The visit of senior officials of the country, including the Minister of Agricultural Jihad and the Head of the National Standards Organization, was a testament to the importance of this event in the role of the Iranian economy.
Minister of Agricultural Jihad: Iran Agrofood, a mirror of the progress of the food industry
On the last day of the exhibition, Gholamreza Nouri Ghezeljeh, Minister of Agricultural Jihad, accompanied by Sedif Beikzadeh, CEO of Iran International Exhibitions, visited the achievements of knowledge-based companies and domestic producers. Appreciating the quality level of the event, he announced: “Iran Agrofood not only showcases domestic capacities, but also, with the presence of renowned countries in the food industry, has elevated Iran’s position on the global map of this industry.”
Referring to the growth of new technologies in the fields of agriculture and food, the Minister of Agriculture added: “This year’s exhibition is a testament to the synchronization of Iranian companies with global developments. The innovative projects and knowledge-based products present at this event show that Iran’s food industry is rapidly becoming a technology hub in the region.”
He also emphasized the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad’s support for start-up companies, saying: “In the year that has been named the ‘Year of Investment for Production,’ securing financial resources and facilitating development processes is our main priority for strengthening these companies.”
Visit of the Head of the National Standards Organization: Quality, the Secret to Export Success
Farzaneh Ansari, Vice President and Head of the National Standards Organization of Iran, also attended the exhibition and spoke closely with manufacturers and exporters. She described the visit to various booths as an opportunity to review the latest achievements in the field of standardization and new technologies, and stated: “Improving national standards in the food and agricultural industries not only gains the trust of domestic consumers, but also paves the way for a stronger presence of Iranian products in global markets.”
Referring to the close cooperation of his organization with the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad, Ansari added: “Maintaining quality and adhering to international standards are the two wings of Iran’s food and agricultural industry’s flight towards the global economy.”
Highlights of the 2025 Exhibition
International presence: Companies and delegations from leading countries in the food and agricultural industries, including Russia, Turkey, China, and India, attended the event as potential business partners of Iran.
Display of new technologies: advanced agricultural machinery, smart irrigation systems, organic products , and functional foods were among the main attractions of the exhibition.
Emphasis on knowledge-based companies: More than 30% of the booths were dedicated to knowledge-based companies that attracted the attention of visitors by presenting digital and biotechnology solutions.
