A patient visit with an emphasis on indigenous capabilities
Exhibition News – President Masoud Pezeshkian visited Hall 38B in the early hours of the 29th International Petroleum Exhibition , dressed simply and without any special formalities. This hall hosted knowledge-based companies and self-sufficiency projects of the oil industry. Pezeshkian , in direct conversation with managers and engineers, emphasized the necessity of linking industry and academia: “Wherever we have succeeded, this link has been in place.”
Efforts to reduce carbon emissions and end flare gases
At the Parsian Holding booth , a plan to collect associated gases and reduce carbon emissions was reviewed. The President issued an order to immediately follow up on the results of this project.
Petrosaze Mobin promised to collect 8 million cubic meters of South Pars flare gas per day by implementing its plans and return it to production. Pezeshkian emphasized the acceleration of the operationalization of this project.

Petrochemicals and Social Responsibility: Building Schools That Honor Iranian Children
At the Petrochemical Industry Employers Association booth , Pezeshkian , upon hearing a report on progress in production and the development program, called for special attention to social responsibility: “Petrochemical industries should build more schools.” Ahmad Mahdavi, the association’s president, promised to prioritize this issue.
New technologies: from solar energy to chimney heat recovery
Catalyst Development Company presented a plan to convert heat from chimneys into energy. The President ordered an urgent meeting with Ghadir Holding to collaborate on this matter.
At the Petrofen booth , the production of the chemical MDI was introduced with the support of the National Iranian Gas Company. Pezeshkian promised government support for the development of this project.
Petroenergy announced the production of hydrogen-fired boilers that convert hydrogen flares into fuel. The president called for the technology to be examined in other projects.

Oil and pharmaceutical industry: 70 times added value
Kimia Group was recognized as the first Iranian holding company active in the field of pharmaceuticals based on petrochemical products. Referring to the 70-fold added value of this project, Pezeshkian recommended: “Use knowledge-based companies for development.”

“This is the first time a president has listened to us like this,” said one of the engineers at the exhibition.
At the end of the visit, Pezeshkian emphasized: “This exhibition proved that sanctions not only did not stop us, but also brought us closer to self-confidence.”

the president’s two-hour visit to the oil exhibition, which was welcomed by the participants and described as a “collective motivation to build the future.” The Minister of Oil also accompanied the doctors during the visit and provided technical explanations.
