Emphasis on developing exhibition cooperation between Iran and Serbia on the eve of Expo 2027 Belgrade

According to the Public Relations Department of the International Exhibitions Joint Stock Company, in this meeting, Sadif Beikzadeh, referring to the long-standing relations between the two countries, announced plans for Iran’s strong presence at the 2027 Belgrade Expo and stated: “Given Belgrade’s appropriate exhibition infrastructure, we expect to witness a successful Expo.”
Referring to the signing of a cooperation memorandum between the Tehran International Exhibition and the Novi Sad Exhibition in Serbia, Beikzadeh called the agreement an effective step towards strengthening the presence of businessmen from the two countries. He also described the removal of visa barriers and the development of air transport as the main prerequisites for developing cooperation, and considered the role of the Serbian embassy to be key in this regard.
Serbian Ambassador: Expo is a golden opportunity to introduce Iran’s capabilities
Demir Kovacevic, the Serbian ambassador to Tehran, expressed his pleasure at Iran’s presence among the 120 countries participating in the Expo, and described this international event as a privileged opportunity to introduce Iranian companies.
He added: “The Belgrade Fair is one of the most prestigious exhibition capacities in Europe, and the Expo will be the best platform for presenting the capabilities of Iranian companies, especially in the field of agriculture . We host many visitors from all over Europe every year, and we look forward to seeing a stronger presence of Iranian delegations.”
Emphasizing his embassy’s full support for Iranian economic activists, the Serbian ambassador noted: “The Serbian embassy is ready to use its full power to issue visas, remove administrative obstacles, and support Iranian businessmen. We are confident that Iran’s presence at Expo 2027 will be a turning point in the exhibition and trade relations between the two countries.”
