Exhibition News – Tehran – Dr. Ali Agha Mohammadi , member of the Expediency Discernment Council and head of the economic group of the Supreme Leader’s office, emphasized the importance of strengthening domestic power and showcasing the revolutionary capacities of Iran’s energy industry this morning (Saturday) during a visit to the 29th International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition. The visit was accompanied by Beykzadeh, CEO of Iran International Exhibitions Joint Stock Company, at the permanent site of Tehran International Exhibitions.

Details of Dr. Agha Mohammadi’s visit:

During this several-hour visit, Dr. Agha Mohammadi visited the booths of domestic and international companies active in the energy sector and exchanged views with the booth officials about the latest technologies, development plans, and local products. He was praised for the creative design of the booths, which focused on showcasing Iran’s research and industrial achievements. In this exhibition, Iranian companies, using advanced booth construction and multimedia elements, tried to introduce their capabilities in areas such as oil equipment manufacturing , refining technologies, and large-scale petrochemical projects in an attractive manner.

Dr. Agha Mohammadi, a member of the Expediency Discernment Council, told reporters on the sidelines of the visit: “This year’s exhibition is not only a testament to the resistance of Iran’s energy industry to sanctions, but also proves that by relying on domestic knowledge and innovation, new frontiers in self-sufficiency can be achieved.” He added: “The booths at this event present a clear picture of the convergence of industry and academia and are promising for sustainable development in the energy sector.”

Importance of the exhibition:

The 29th edition of this international exhibition, with the participation of more than 1,200 domestic and 300 foreign companies from 40 countries, is known as one of the largest energy events in the Middle East. A special focus on green technologies, pollution reduction and process digitalization were among the main themes of the companies’ booths during this period.
