According to the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade (Semat) information website, at the ceremony, which was attended by the prime ministers of the five member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and was held under the title “Union of New Technologies and Creation of Future Industry”, Seyyed Mohammad Atabak, Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran, emphasized the necessity of utilizing new technologies and the convergence of regional countries to exploit scientific capacities.

In his speech, Atabek, referring to the world being on the verge of the “fourth generation industrial revolution”, stated: “In this revolution, an unprecedented transformation in production and life will be created by integrating cyber-physical technologies, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and big data.”
He defined “future industry” as the complete smartization of industrial processes and the reduction of the role of the human operator, explaining: “In this generation, factories and production systems operate intelligently and self-regulate using sensors, wireless communications, and artificial intelligence.”

Data-driven decision-making and environmentally friendly industry
The Iranian Minister of Industry added: “In the industry of the future, decisions will be made with the help of accumulated data and advanced analytics. This transformation will enable the creation of more flexible, productive, and environmentally friendly industries and will shape future industries based on technological and knowledge-based innovations.”
International cooperation: the key to accelerating transformation
In another part of his speech, Atabek cited the exchange of knowledge, experience, and joint investment in the field of artificial intelligence as a factor in strengthening technological supply chains and developing indigenous technologies. He noted: “Eurasian international cooperation in the field of creating common standards, training a specialized workforce, and developing digital infrastructure will accelerate the path to realizing the fourth-generation industrial revolution.”
A common strategy for a bright tomorrow
The Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade concluded by stating that new technologies will determine the future of nations and the region’s position in the world, and added: “By enhancing their scientific and industrial capabilities, countries can achieve the creation of industries that are not only sustainable and smart, but also remain competitive and innovative in the global arena.”
He believed: “Undoubtedly, this path is a path towards a tomorrow in which science, industry, and technology will serve the welfare of nations and their peaceful coexistence.”
