Booth construction and decoration system – Developing metro linesand improving public transportation infrastructure in Tehran has become one of the vital needs of this metropolis. Perhaps Heshmatollah Askari, Deputy Governor of Tehran for Coordination of Economic Affairs, emphasized the importance of this category while visiting international exhibitions and raised the need to implement new programs as a fundamental solution to reduce traffic and pollution in the capital.

In the current situation, heavy traffic and air pollution have become major problems for residents and visitors to Tehran. In this regard, the development of metro lines has been introduced as one of the key solutions. Asgari stated: “Completing and developing metro lines is one of our priorities, which will greatly facilitate access to exhibitions.” This development will not only help reduce traffic, but also provide better conditions for holding international events.

In addition, the Deputy Governor of Tehran mentioned the implementation of a program titled “Two Degrees Temperature Reduction Campaign” at the permanent site of Tehran International Exhibitions, which aims to reduce energy consumption and protect the environment. He appreciated the cooperation of the Iran International Exhibitions Joint Stock Company and said that the necessary measures in this regard have been well taken.

Asgari also pointed to the challenges in implementing laws and regulations in the field of public transportation, adding: “Many of the problems are due to the incomplete implementation of existing laws.” These shortcomings have led to increased pollution in Tehran, where transportation is one of the main causes of pollution. In particular, pollution from moving vehicles accounts for more than 50 percent of Tehran’s air pollution. Therefore, he emphasized the need for more investment in this area, noting that the electrification of transportation should also be on the agenda.

On the financial front, Asgari said public transportation needs more attention in future budgets. “Fortunately, the government and parliament have paid special attention to this issue next year,” he said, adding that this could help improve traffic and pollution in the capital.

In the economic sphere, the Deputy Governor of Tehran discussed the economic growth plan of 8% for the country and 7.4% for Tehran province. He emphasized that this growth will only be possible in the shadow of sustainable and competitive production and that holding exhibitions can provide a platform for access to global markets.

According to Asgari, the inability to assess and identify strengths and weaknesses among manufacturers is due to the lack of gathering information at exhibitions. He pointed to the essential role of exhibitions in disseminating technical knowledge and technology, and expressed hope that these events will give manufacturers more motivation for progress and creativity.

Ultimately, it can be concluded that the development of public transportation and the metro is not only the main solution to Tehran’s traffic and pollution problems, but also a model for holding international events and the country’s economic growth.
