Social responsibility and honoring martyrs
Abstract
Media Booth Construction – This article examines the role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in commemorating the martyrs’ status and its relationship with the exhibition booth construction industry with an analytical approach. The case study of this research is the meeting of the CEO of Iran International Exhibitions Joint Stock Company with the families of the martyrs of the company on the occasion of Martyrs’ Status Commemoration Day (March 11).
This event is analyzed not only as a symbolic act, but also as a model of organizational commitment to social and national values. The findings show that combining CSR principles with a culture of selflessness can lead to strengthening organizational identity and improving brand image in the field of international exhibitions and booth construction.
Introduction
In societies with a historical background of resistance and sacrifice, such as Iran, commemorating martyrs as a moral and social necessity is also reflected in the organizational body. Iran International Exhibitions Joint Stock Company, as a leading institution in the exhibition stand construction and management industry , demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility towards the families of martyrs by holding a ceremony on March 12. This article, focusing on this event, examines the role of CSR in strengthening organizational and social bonds.
The research method of
this study was conducted using a qualitative method and content analysis of the company’s CEO’s statements and the organization’s information base report. The data were interpreted within the framework of the theory of corporate social responsibility and its relationship with human resource management in the exhibition industry.
Findings and analysis
1. Social responsibility and honoring ties
The meeting of Sedif Beikzadeh, the company’s CEO, with the families of martyred employees is a symbol of the human-centered approach in exhibition management. His emphasis on “serving the people as the highest honor for martyrs” indicates the alignment of organizational goals with national ideals. This interaction not only strengthens employee loyalty but is also effective in the social marketing of the exhibition booth industry.
2. Selflessness and human resource management
The presence of martyrs’ children on the board of directors and the employment of veterans is a smart strategy of this company in combining ethical values with business strategies. This approach acts as a competitive advantage in gaining the trust of international customers in the field of exhibitions.
3. Symbolism in the exhibition industry
Holding a ceremony at the “Cave of the Martyrs” and offering flowers is more than a ceremonial act; it is a reflection of the Islamic-Iranian identity in the design of international pavilions and events. This symbolism allows the message of resistance to be conveyed through the medium of the exhibition.
Conclusion:
The interaction of the International Exhibitions Joint Stock Company with the families of the martyrs is a successful example of integrating social responsibility with business strategies. In the exhibition stand industry, these actions not only enhance the brand image, but also serve as a tool for cultural diplomacy in world exhibitions. It is suggested that other institutions active in this field, following this model, design their CSR programs around national values.
