Exhibition News – Tehran – The 28th edition of elecomp International Exhibition opened this morning in the presence of Seyyed Sattar Hashemi, Minister of Communications and Information Technology , at the Permanent Exhibition Center of Tehran International Exhibitions . This important industrial event, known as the leading information and communication technology exhibition in Iran, hosts domestic and international companies, startups, and knowledge-based companies.
Field visit and direct conversation with the Minister of Communications
After the opening ceremony, the Minister of Communications visited various halls of the exhibition to learn about the latest achievements and innovations of companies active in the fields of information technology, digital services, and cybersecurity. While visiting the booths, Hashemi spoke with founders and activists in this field and emphasized the “need for comprehensive support for technology companies and creating sustainable conditions for the growth of innovative businesses.” He considered the Elcomp exhibition “a valuable opportunity to showcase the country’s technological capabilities and strengthen international cooperation.”

Innovations and Distinctions of the Twenty-Eight Period
This edition of the Elcomp exhibition has been held with a new approach and a different look than previous editions. Among its most important differences are the following:

Addressing Artificial Intelligence: For the first time, a special section is dedicated to showcasing indigenous achievements in the field of artificial intelligence, which demonstrates the country’s serious determination to move towards advanced technologies.

Holding specialized side events: Two events, “Alcom Talks” to hold specialized panels and discussions between senior managers and experts, and “Alcom Pitch” are designed as a platform to introduce startups and attract capital for innovative teams from across the country.

Attention to cybersecurity and the university’s connection with industry: The stronger presence of accelerators and innovation centers with the aim of linking scientific capacities to the industry market, along with special attention to the vital issue of cybersecurity, are other prominent features of this period.

The boom in the international sector: The presence of 70 foreign companies indicates the expansion of the international dimensions of this exhibition and provides a platform for technology exchange and global trade .
